The "Rope" has spreader bars of luxury Shorea wood (100% FSC) and fits into every Tropilex hanging chair stand.
Strong and comfortable
The many openings of a knotted hanging chair offer plenty of ventilation. That feels much cooler than a woven hanging chair. The openwork cloth of the 'Rope' is not knotted, but woven. The fabric therefore feels fine, even on bare skin.
The 'Rope' is especially strong. Firstly, because the hanging chair is woven with thick cords instead of hundreds of thin threads. In addition, Tropilex does not use 1 rope, but 2 ropes to weave the cloth. That offers 40% more sturdiness than comparable hangign chairs!
Durable hanging chairs made of recycled material
The 'Rope' hanging chair is produced in a sustainable way. The polyester used for the fabric comes from recycled plastic bottles. This reuse of plastic is especially valuable because the hanging chairs are produced in a country with a huge waste problem: India.
Of course, this sustainable production does not take place at the expense of comfort or quality! Thanks to a unique weaving technique, the 'Rope' feels very pleasant. The material is even softer than cotton.
